Yes, foreigners can apply for a bank loan and the good news is that it can be applied to ready property as well as under construction projects.
Citizens of 96 countries can enter Georgia without a visa, among which are the US, EU, Gulf countries, Israel and many more. For those who are not in the list, it is quite easy to get a visa for the entry.
There are several common housing delivery options in Georgia
Black box — it is an empty apartment with concrete floors, ceilings and exterior walls, with an entrance door and windows.
Fine finish — the entire basic structure is in places in the apartment, such as floor and wall cement screed, electrical wiring, plumbing and heating pipes, but no cosmetic touches have been added.
Turnkey — fully finished apartment with furniture and appliances.
There is no purchase or property tax for foreign citizens in Georgia. When purchasing property, only a one time registration state fee of 75 lari has to be paid in the public registry hall. If needed, the buyer can pay a fee of up to 305 lari, and the registration of ownership of the property will be done into the public hall within the same day.
The only two taxes are the income tax of 5% paid from the rent income (only if your property is rented) and in case of resell of the property within 2 years of purchase, 20% is paid from the added value of the sold property.
